Privacy policy

In short

• No sign-up: on first launch the app creates an anonymous account. We never ask for your name, e-mail address or phone number.
• Your saved fairs, their statuses, your notes, checklist items and reminders are synced to our server so they are backed up and available on your devices.
• No ads, no ad tracking, and we never sell your data.
• Location is optional, used only when you tap “Near me”, and never stored.

Data controller

The data controller is Fuar (fuar.sayfa.app). For any question about this notice or your data: [email protected].

What we process

• Anonymous account: a random account identifier, the sessions of your devices with the device name and platform the app reports, and, if you add one, the public key of your passkey.
• Profile settings: your language, your device's time zone, the country you choose and the industries you are interested in.
• Your planning data: the fairs you save and their status (saved, interested, going, attended), your notes, checklist items and reminders.
• Technical records: IP address and request time in server logs, used for security and to limit abuse. They contain no notes, tasks or search text.

Location

“Near me” asks for your approximate location only when you use it. The approximate position is sent with that one search to find nearby fairs; it is not stored and not linked to your account.

If you have not chosen a country and your device region is unknown, we may suggest a country from the country our network provider derives from your IP address. This suggestion is not stored either.

Analytics

To improve the app we may count anonymous usage events, such as a fair being saved or a search returning results. Analytics never receive the text of your notes, checklist items or searches, are not combined with other data about you and are not used for advertising.

Why we process it

We process this data to provide the service you use (finding fairs, saving them, syncing your plans and reminders) and to keep our systems secure. We do not use it for profiling or advertising.

Service providers

The website and the API are served through Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses to deliver and protect them. App purchases, if you make any, are handled by Google Play or the App Store under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

• Account, profile and planning data: as long as your account exists. Deleting the account deletes them straight away.
• Copies in server backups: at most 30 days, then deleted automatically.
• Server logs: at most 30 days.

Your rights

You can see and change your data in the app at any time and delete your account and all of it as described on the account deletion page. Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and similar laws you can also ask us what data we process about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Fair information

Fair dates, venues and organizers come from public sources such as official fair calendars. The data sources page lists them and their attribution. Contact e-mail addresses published by sources are not stored or shown.

Changes

When we change this notice we update the date on this page. We announce important changes in the app.
